IN-CAMP

When kids are in camp, meals are served "family style" (large dishes are passed around the table for the groups to share) in Reeve Hall. Campers always choose what they want to eat and how much. Meals are based on good nutrition and the likes of today's youth. A typical in-camp meal menu may look like this:

Breakfast:

  • french toast w/syrup
  • bacon
  • fresh fruit
  • juice
  • milk
  • water
  • cereal options
  • bagels w/cream cheese
  • Lunch:

  • grilled cheese
  • tomato soup
  • fresh fruit
  • vegetables
  • milk
  • juice
  • water
  • Dinner (Supper)

  • spaghetti and sauce
  • garlic bread
  • fresh vegetables
  • salad
  • dessert
  • milk
  • water
  • On The Trail

On outdoor adventure trips our campers participate in creating the menus and meals they will carry with them. Many of the meals out on the trail are cooked over camp stoves or campfires. Though only the counselors manage the camp stoves, all campers participate preparing, cooking and cleaning for each meal. A trip menu may look like this:

    Breakfast

  • pancakes
  • dried fruit
  • tang/gatorade
  • hot chocolate/cider
  • Lunch

  • tortillas with peanut butter and jelly
  • beef jerky
  • granola bars
  • fresh fruit
  • gatorade/fruit juice
  • water
  • Dinner (Supper)

  • pita pizzas with toppings
  • carrot sticks and dip
  • s'mores/dessert
  • hot chocolate/cider
  • Other trail options include pasta and rice dishes, energy bars, homemade granola, flat bread, meat jerky and other easy to pack items. Counselors always role model and encourage healthy nutrition at Camp.
  • **Does your camper have a special diet? Talk to us about it. We can accommodate special dietary needs.
